Clematis and Poppy Blooms

The tail end of May has continued to be filled with blooms. Most notably the clematis and a California poppy I started from seed earlier this year. My daughter also picked out a dahlia for me for Mother’s Day. We have shared as many flowers as we could with friends and neighbors. We even got to donate some to the activity days girls at church and for another meeting. It feels good to share the beauty. The sweet peas continue to smell amazing, but they are definitely in their taking over stage. I’m going to put them out as soon as I can do it willingly. The reseeded romaine is beautiful also and makes me want to try to interplant lettuce intentionally. Enjoy the photos!
