He that hath ears to hear let him hear

I contemplated the scripture today, Matthew 11:15. There is so much we can hear and understand if we have eyes and ears tuned to understand. As I looked out my window, I considered the point of origin of all the things out there. Art depicting that concept in a meaningful way would be incredible, but point of origin is also tied to history and culture and evolution and the near constant refashioning of materials. I can say where something came from last, or what it was made out of, and what it will likely become next, or where it is going, but can I track substance through space and time infinitely in a meaningful and beautiful way. That would be godly. To know all things now and always, and to impart that understanding in a beautiful, clear, meaningful way. At small scale, we have that as we look for it with eyes to see and ears to hear. I’m grateful.
